Westport Outfitters

Lots of bait from the Housatonic to the far Western Sound. The weather has been inching the water to the low 50's - the striper turn on temp. Large schoolies were caught from the Housatonic Mouth to the Mianus Dam & Westport Harbor. Schoolies are in the estuaries.

Reports of sand eels from Milford and west. Reports of large bunker schools in Bridgeport area.

Milford Point saw a 32" striper taken on a fly.

Stripers up to 26" reported around the islands - numbers are less than last year.
