Before the season starts I'd like some feedback. What do you like about the blog? Are there fishing reports you'd like to see included or excluded? Any other features you'd like to see? Do you like the look of it? My goal is a no-frills blog that presents the reports in a clear and easy to read format.
Striped Bass- no migratory bass here yet, but winter over fish are good in the upper Thames River, Housatonic River and Hamburg Cove. We're probably a couple of weeks away from some fresh arrivals from the Hudson. Herring have been spotted in some of the local tributaries.
White Perch- some in Hamburg, but not consistent.
Winter Flounder- starts April 1st
Blackfish- season open but no reports yet.
